🐧 Get Started with XenoSO on Linux
Follow these simple steps using Lutris to join the community!

Install Lutris
Lutris is a game manager that handles Wine/Proton for you. Install it using your distribution's package manager:
- Ubuntu/Debian:
sudo apt install lutris - Arch/Manjaro:
sudo pacman -S lutris - Fedora:
sudo dnf install lutris - Steam Deck: Available in Discover Store (Desktop Mode)
Or visit lutris.net for other installation methods.

Download XenoSO Launcher
Download the official XenoSO Launcher package
📥 Download XenoSO LauncherExtract the ZIP file after downloading

Add XenoSO to Lutris
Set up XenoSO in Lutris:
- Open Lutris
- Click the + button (top left)
- Select "Add locally installed game"
- Give it a name: "XenoSO"
- Click "Install"

Run the Setup
When prompted:
- Click "Browse" next to "Setup file"
- Navigate to the extracted ZIP folder
- Select XenoSOLauncher.exe
- Choose install location (or use default)
- Click "Install"
The XenoSO Launcher will open - use it to download and install the full game!

Set the Game Executable
After installation completes:
- Right-click XenoSO in Lutris
- Select "Configure"
- Go to "Game options" tab
- Click "Browse" next to "Executable"
- Navigate to the XenoSO installation folder
- Select XenoSO.exe (the actual game, not the launcher)
- Click "Save"

Launch & Play!
You're all set! Click Play in Lutris to launch XenoSO.
The game will run through Wine/Proton automatically.
⚠️ Steam Deck Users
After setup, you can add XenoSO to your Steam library in Game Mode:
- Right-click XenoSO in Lutris → "Create Steam shortcut"
- Or manually add it as a Non-Steam Game
