Duel Arena

The Duel Arena allows players to earn Magic Coins based on the outcome of a magic duel. The trick is to know which element counters another. Pay attention to the colored spheres behind you and your opponent, as well as the symbol on the arena floor.

  • Flushing unflushed toilets

True to her spooky charm, Bonehilda does not accept payment for her work.

Behavior

Bonehilda automatically returns to her coffin every day between 12:00 AM and 1:00 AM. She cannot be summoned during this hour.

Beanstalks

Beanstalks are a teleporter system that work in pairs (one entry, one exit) and cost 500 Magic Coins each. They can be used to climb to exit your lot or to travel between the entry and exit points across any distance on your property.

Shrink Crystal

The Shrink Crystal is a mysterious magical artifact that costs 5,000 Magic Coins. This enchanted crystal offers players two distinct interactions, each with unpredictable outcomes.

Inspect Interaction:

When inspecting the Shrink Crystal, players may experience one of three random effects:

  • Lightning Strike: The player is struck by a bolt of magical lightning
  • Shrinking: The player shrinks in size, the effect remains for as long as you stay on the same lot
  • Bear Transformation: The player receives a temporary bear head

Blessing Interaction:

Asking the crystal for a blessing results in one of four possible outcomes:

  • Financial Gain: Receive Simoleons
  • Financial Loss: Lose Simoleons
  • Food Reward: Receive food items
  • Lot Plague: A plague of toads or snakes appears on the lot

Animated Cauldron

The Animated Cauldron is available for 2,500 Magic Coins. This mystical brewing vessel comes to life with magical animation, perfect for any witch or wizard's lair.

Visual Effects:

The cauldron offers three visual effect interactions, each costing 50 wand charge:

  • Gray Smoke (50): Produces gray smoke effects
  • Green Smoke (50): Produces green smoke effects
  • Sparkles (50): Produces sparkle effects

Only ONE Grim Reaper can be summoned per lot at a time.

Interactions with the Grim Reaper:

  • Resurrection Service: When you "Inspect" the statue, the Grim Reaper appears. If your Sim is a ghost, you can pay 1,500 Simoleans to revive your Sim
  • Death Flower Drop: If the Grim Reaper also has a random chance to appear at midnight (12:00 AM - 1:00 AM). After the Grim Reaper appears, he will leave behind a Death Flower Death Flower (a spell ingredient used in charms)

Magic Mirror

The Magic Mirror is an essential tool for any aspiring wizard or witch, available for 5,000 Magic Coins. This enchanted mirror serves both practical and mystical purposes.

Functionality:

The Magic Mirror provides access to the accessories menu, allowing players to equip and manage their magical attire:

Fortune Telling:

When gazing into the Crystal Ball, players may experience one of 16 possible outcomes, ranging from minor fortunes to life-altering transformations.

Most Notable Outcome:

The Crystal Ball's most infamous effect is possession. Players who experience this outcome will be transformed into a Sorcerer or Sorceress, fundamentally changing their character's magical nature. This transformation is one of the most significant events that can occur through magical items in XenoSO.

The Voodoo Doll

The Voodoo Doll is a powerful offensive magical item that costs 5,000 Magic Coins. This dark artifact allows players to inflict harm upon other Sims present on their lot, making it one of the most feared objects in the magical arsenal.

Attack Methods:

The Voodoo Doll offers three distinct ways to harm a target:

  • Pins: Pierce the doll with pins to cause discomfort to the victim
  • Shake: Violently shake the doll to disorient the target
  • Punch: Strike the doll to deliver physical harm to the victim

Effects and Costs:

  • Magic Charge Cost: Each use of the Voodoo Doll consumes 100 Wand Charge
  • Motive Impact: The attacked Sim suffers a significant drop to both Fun and Comfort motives
  • Range: The target must be present on the same lot as the doll's user
